618,091. Shoe supports. PERSINGER, W. G. Oct. 18, 1946, No. 31031. Convention date, July 3, 1944. [Class 17 (iii)] A device for supporting a shoe during cleaning comprises a front portion 12 shaped to support the shoe toe and carrying means, such as a heelengaging member 21 connected to it through an adjustable arrangement of toggle links 17, 20 pivoted at 18, to hold it within the shoe. A rod 24 is welded to the underside of the portion 12 which is shaped to support the shoe instep. At its opposite end it carries a plate 31 adapted to be engaged in a detachable manner with a plate 34 secured to a support 23.
