Abstract

591,485. Potters' wheels. COTTRELL, J. E. May 18, 1945, No. 12575. [Class 87 (i)] The main frame for supporting a potters' wheel 1 is constructed of two main members 7, 9 one of which, 7, is a central longitudinal one extending from the rear to or beyond a tray 3 which tapers' forwardly, where is carries an operator's seat 20 and has a leg 7a integral with the member, whilst the other frame member 9 is transverse and located at the rear and is provided with two legs. The wheel may be treadle or power-operated. The seat 20 is adjustable for position and is fixed by a bolt 22. A treadle 15 operates the wheel through a crank 5.
