617,880. Radio receiving systems. COHEN, L. Oct. 19, 1945, No. 27509. [Class 40 (v)] An interference preventing system of the noisebalancing type comprises an aerial 1 inductively coupled to the tuned input circuit of a radio receiver by means of a coil 2, and a second aerial 6 coupled directly over a condenser 7. A mathematical expression is given for the conditions determining the balancing out of interference, which is assumed to be of low frequency. Balance is effected by adjustment of the condenser 7, which may be ganged with a trimmer in shunt with the tuned circuit to compensate for any disturbance of the tuning.
