[Class 68 (i)] [Also in Groups X, XXX and XXXII] At the rear of a bottom-dump vehicle there is formed a well 24 by supporting the vehicle body 11 on road wheels 12 by two goosenecks 23. The well accommodates a fluid-operated motor 17 which can raise or lower a U-shaped spreader 16 having downwardly converging side and rear walls and which is pivotally attached to the body 11 at 15. The spreader may be used as an earth scraper.
