[Class 39 (iii)] [Also in Group XIII] Apparatus for electrically heating the cooling water of a water-cooled internal combustion engine consists of a casing 1 with pipes 2 for connection in the cooling circuit, a partition wall 3 being placed in the casing perpendicular to the axis of the connection pipes, the casing having a cylindrical recess 4 above the partition wall to accommodate an electric heating element 5. The partition wall 3 forces the water entering the apparatus through the pipes 2 into the space 7 to be heated by the element 5. Specification 341,672 is referred to.
