Abstract
615,779. Induction heating. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., and CLARKE, C. E. EADON-. Aug. 17, 1946, No. 24554. [Class 39 (iii)] An electrode assembly comprises a holder 1, supplied with high frequency power, having a water cooling channel 4 and containing a work coil 10 surrounding the workpiece 14. Coil 10 is secured to the holder by screws 15, and may have central apertures of varying shape to correspond with the workpiece being treated. The holder 1 may have holes 36 for directing water on to the workpiece as it passes downwardly therethrough.
