614,065. Battery lamps. EKCO PRODUCTS CO. June 28, 1946, No. 19350. Convention date, March 2. [Class 39 (ii)] A flashlight comprises a switch bar 25 slidable in a channel 23 in the case wall to contact a reflector 20 which is insulated from the casing by the lens 22. The bar has a reversibly bent extension 26, forming a spring with a hump 29 fitting into an indentation 30 in an operating plate 31. A shoulder 36 on the plate 31 engages the forward edge of a slot 32 in a cover plate 33 so that depression of the plate 31, limited by a finger 28, is required before operating the switch. The lens 12 has a peripheral wall supporting and insulating the reflector 20 from the casing 10, the reflector carrying the lamp in the usual manner.
