611,672. Cigarette cases. LOCKER, M. May 4, 1946, No. 13589. [Class 18] A cigarette case comprises a central body part, formed to provide half walls a, b on opposite sides connected by cross-pieces c, d, and a half lid g, i on each side, the lid of one side being opposite the wall of the other side and both body and lid parts being fluted internallyto form channels for the cigarettes. The lids g, i may be hinged at opposite ends, as shown, or at the same end and the flutes of each lid and aligned half wall are staggered with respect to those of the other half wall and lid. Flanges are provided at the outer edges of the half walls and lids and the wall flanges a<1>, b<1> may be gapped or scalloped to facilitate insertion and removal of cigarettes, the lid flanges having complemented extensions to fill the gaps when the case is closed. The case may be made of transparent or translucent plastic material and may be fluted, grooved or ribbed on its outer face
