Abstract

610,424. Clod - cutting implements. KRIJGER, C. de. April 4, 1946, No. 10488. Convention date, June 1, 1939. [Class 6(ii)] The lever 10 for ejecting the clod from the tubular cutting member 1 is pivoted or mounted adjacent to the handle 5 so that the handle and lever may be gripped together. Rods 4<SP>1</SP>, 4<SP>11</SP> extend from the handle to a plate 3 which is bolted to the cutter 1 and carries a mandrel or core 6 for forming a seed-hole in the clod. The stem 9 of the lever 10 terminates in a U-piece 8 spanning the plate 3 and secured to the ejector plate 7.
