[Class 108 (iii)] A buffer made of a resilient material comprises a head 1 and shoulder 3 connected by a neck 2, and a shank 5 extending from the shoulder 3, of smaller diameter than the shoulder, the shank and shoulder being adapted to pass through an aperture in a base 4 for reception of the neck, the shank serving a finger grip to aid insertion. The buffer may be of natural or synthetic rubber composition and its head may be provided with one or more apertures or recesses.
