[Class 3(ii)] [Also in Group X] A shop front, show-case, or like display space is provided with a border comprising transparent tubular members containing coloured liquid, means being provided for supplying liquid to and draining it from the tubular members whereby the colour of the liquid may be changed at will. Fig. 4 shows in a cross-section one such tubular member 14 illuminated by lamps 40 mounted on a back board 13, but the lamps may be omitted and either the board 13 or the rear face of the member 14 may be silvered. The members 14 may have vertical partitions so that a plurality of liquids of different colours can be simultaneously shown. Ribs 16 may support the members 14. Fig. 1 shows a shop front having the pilasters 11 and, optionally, the facia board 12 of members 14, and additionally, tubes 34 forming a name. Two tanks 20 containing differently coloured liquids can be connected selectively by cocks 22 to the pilasters and lettering, and drain pipes 26 lead overflow and the main body of liquid into tanks 25 or to waste 29. Pumps 49 may be provided to transfer liquid from tanks 25 back to tanks 20. Vents 30, 48 prevent air-locks.
