[Class 38 (v)] [Also in Group XXXVIII] An electrical time-alarm device of the clock type wherein the clock hands touch contacts on the face or face cover, has in its casing or its face cover a series of sockets or holes associated with the hour hand and a further series of sockets or holes associated with the minute hand, and each electrical circuit includes two plugs one of which may be inserted in that socket or hole of each series corresponding to the time at which the circuit is to be completed, so that when the hands indicate that time they complete the circuit between the two plugs, the current path lying from one hand directly to the other. Fig. 1 shows a construction wherein a circuit between any one or more pairs of sockets h, h<1> is completed through the minute and hour hands c<1>, c when the latter simultaneously touch a particular pair of contacts b, b<1> connected to sockets h, h<1> via sockets d, d<1> and wander leads having plugs f, f<1>, g, g<1> at their ends. In Fig. 3, plugs corresponding to f and g, having wire coils attached as shown, are inserted in appropriate holes arranged in two concentric rings in the glass or other cover, the wire coils then making direct contact with the hands.
