Abstract

A lubricant for use in the cold plastic deformation of metal comprises a paraffin modified by halogenation, preferably chlorinated paraffin wax, the extent of chlorination being between 25-48 per cent. Minor amounts of other lubricants may be added. Specification 452,914 is referred to.
