[Class 131] A holder for wafer t y p e razor blades comprises a clip member on a carrier member hinged to the top of a container for oil or other protective fluid so that the clip member and blade or blades can be lowered into the fluid. In one form a coiled spring e is mounted upon a U-shaped member d secured to the inside of the hinged lid of the container a. In a modification, a number of separate members each bearing a clip for a blade are hinged to the rear wall of the container below the hinged lid: A deflector plate h or other means may be provided so that fluid draining from the blade or blades is returned to the container.
