603,198. Clinch-nuts. FERNBERG, E. B., and FERNTOL PATENTS, Ltd. Nov. 16, 1945, No. 30828. [Class 89 (i)] Clinch-nuts are made by securing a standard nut in a correspondingly shaped aperture in a strip 11 as by caulking over the corners 17, 18 of the nut on the two sides of the strip. The strip is secured to the panel or sheet 20 by spot welding or riveting &c. at 21. The hole for the nut may be formed in an embossed part of the sheet itself.
