Abstract

602,650. Barometric gauges. PULLARS ELECTRIC CO. (BRIGHTON), Ltd., and BOWEN, T. Dec. 6, 1945, No. 33061. [Class 106 (ii)] A mounting for a flexible capsule and for a transmission operated thereby comprises at least one plate having punched out of it a resilient tongue which is joined at one end to said plate and has the capsule secured to it, the tongue being engaged by a set-screw mounted on the main part of said plate, relatively to which the transmission is fixed. The capsule 20 is secured to a tongue 21, punched out of a resilient base-plate 10, by means of a threaded stem and nut and the head of a setscrew 23 is located in a hole in the tongue. Two lugs 25 are punched out of the base-plate and bent back under the tongue 21, their ends meeting and forming a screw-threaded hole through which the set-screw 23 passes, its end having a slot for adjustment purposes. A projection on the upper side of the capsule engages a lever 18 mounted on a rock-shaft 16 which is carried between adjustable bearings.
