600,897. Dryshavers. HINDS, G. A. Sept. 20, 1946, No. 28129. [Class 131] In an electricallydriven dry shaver the movable part of the cutter head is connected to the vibrating armature of the motor by an insulating member carried by a metal part moving with said armature and which is rigid in the direction of vibration but is capable of yielding in the transverse direction. As shown the armature 21 is provided with a flat blade extension 20 in a socket 19 of which is secured the insulating member 17 formed as a block. The extension 20 is rigid in the direction of vibration but is capable of yielding in the transverse direction. The opening 16 between the cutter head and the motor casing is sealed by a flexible membrane 43. Specification 600,857 is referred to.
