[Class 37] Relates to the method of electrolytic chemical analysis in which an electrolytic current is plotted against an increasing direct-current voltage from 5, Fig. 3, applied to the electrodes 2, 3 to produce a curve, e.g. Fig. 1, and consists in superposing on the electrodes 2, 3 a constant A.C. voltage from 7 and plotting the amplitude (or R.M.S.) of the A.C. measured at 9, against the direct voltage to produce a curve, e.g. Fig. 2, in which the peaks of the A.C. correspond to the " half-wave " potentials of Fig. 1.
