599,358. Blasting-detonators. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Sept. 17, 1945, No. 23948. Convention date, Sept. 16, 1944. [Class 9 (i)] The leading wires to an electric detonator 1 for blasting explosives are secured in two bundles 9, 10 to facilitate handling. The securing means may be a sleeve 4 of fabric, paper board, plastic material, leather, rubber, cellulose film, or rubber hydrochloride film stapled, tied or glued at 5 and 7. The bundles may be tied or held by a rubber band. The compartment containing the detonator and a short length of wire is released to allow the detonator to be inserted in the priming cartridge.
