815,534. Detonating fuze cord. ANDREW, D. J., FELCH, R. W., and NODDIN, G A. May 28, 1957 [Sept. 25, 1956], No. 16953/57. Class 9(1) A detonating fuze cord for connection to blasting charges comprises a core 1 of high explosive consisting of 2 to 15 grains per ft. length in a flexible thermoplastic sheath 2 such as polyethylene. The explosives may be the same as those used in Specification 815,532. Alternative sheath materials are rubber, polyvinyl chloride and neoprene. These may be reinforced with a fabric countering countering 3. Wire or other metal reinforcements may be used.
