Abstract
599,243. Nursery chairs. CANTOR, R. Nov. 26, 1945, No. 31872. [Class 52(ii)] A nursery chair comprises a seat unit and a separate mounting therefor so that the unit may be secured upon the mounting at two different levels or may be completely removed therefrom and used as an independent unit. The seat unit comprises a tubular frame formed by two U portions b, c united by verticals d the seat and back proper a being secured thereto. The mounting similarly is formed of two U portions f, g united at the front by verticals h and at the back by a vertical h<1>. As shown in Fig. 3 the seat unit is connected at a low height to the mounting by means of clips i on the portions f of the mounting engaging the portions b of the seat unit. If a greater height for the seat unit is desired the clips i are engaged with the portions c of the seat unit. As shown in Fig. 4 the seat unit may be used as an independent unit. A table m is pivoted to the seat unit by means of pivots o at the ends of the turned back portions n and when not required may be swung into the inoperative position shown in Fig. 3. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 602,397.
