599,024. Lavatory basins. NUCKEY, P., and SCOTT, R. J. Jan. 24, 1944, No. 18954/45. Divided out of 572,280. [Class 26] A lavatory basin unit has the water supply conduits 20 and the waste conduit 34 incorporated therewith to form a complete unitary structure, the hot and cold water supply conduits 20 lying along and fitting into recesses on the underside of the basin structure so as to be concealed from view, and all conduits being directed downwardly near the front of said basin. The basin unit may be arranged for combination or association with a bath, a mixing pipe 21 for the hot and cold water being fitted with a movable outlet nozzle 23 for directing the water into the basin or into a duct 29 under the basin, the outlet 30 from said duct discharging the water into the bath. The mixing pipe is shrouded by a cover member 24 having a slot to allow the movement of a member 27 for directing the nozzle 23 into one or other of its discharge positions.
