Abstract
597,859. Pneumatic tools. PHILIPPOVIC, J. W..Tan. 24, 1946, No. 2425. [Class 124] In a T-shaped pneumatic tool in which the cross-piece of the T is constituted by a pair of oppositely extending handles, the latter are inclined towards the chisel end so as to be at an angle of 70-80 degrees to the longitudinal axis of the tool. The handles may be formed integrally with a cylinder head unit which may be cast in steel, manganese bronze or aluminium bronze. This unit includes a union for an airline and a trigger-operated air-valve, and also forms a chest for a double-acting automatic differential pressure valve. The trigger of this valve may be disposed in a slot formed in one of the handles, whilst the other handle may be bored to accommodate an air-displacement lubricator.
