Abstract

597,752. Suction cleaner nozzles. ARON, E., HARMAN, M., and HARMAN, J. Aug. 24, 1945, No. 21812. [Class 8 (i)] A swivelling suction nozzle comprises a hollow body, the top 10 of which is slotted at 11 and is formed with an integral half-bearing 14 secured to a second half-bearing 15, and a one-piece tubular suction conduit 12 having a socket 16 registering with the slot 11 and having hollow trunnions 13 retained by the bearings 14, 15 so as to lie wholly within the nozzle body. The lower edges of the nozzle are provided with shallow projections 21.
