Abstract
597,300. Partition wall units. HEIM, F., SMITH, C. A. V., and THORP, L. T. Aug. 13, 1945, No. 20777. [Class 20(iii)] [Also in Group XIV] A unit forming a complete prefabricated partition wall, comprises a wall, a kitchen dresser disposed at one side of the unit and a dining room sideboard at the other, with a serving hatch and one or more drawers which can be opened from either side of the unit. As shown the base of the dresser comprises a cupboard 10, with sliding doors 11, 12, and drawers 13, 14, the latter slidable through the wall 15 into the dining room, and a part 16 for a sink or drawers. The upper part 17 is divided into cupboards 20, 21, the latter being less deep to provide space for the sideboard 26, and is thinner than the base, leaving a shelf 18, with the serving hatch 19 at the back. The large cupboards 23 complete the dresser. The sideboard, Fig. 2, comprises a recess 26, a shelf 27, the hatch 19, and drawers 14, 28. A door 24 between rooms or more cupboards may be provided.
