Abstract

591,840. Golf practising devices. RUSSELL, R. April 18, 1946, No. 7246/45. [Class 132 (ii)] In a stance indicator for golf, of the kind having a radius arm and cross member forming an adjustable T, the cross member comprises a tube into which the radius arm may be inserted for transit. The tubular cross member 21 has a central aperture, into which one end of the radius arm 20 is inserted and held by a pin 24, and apertures 25, 26 into which pins may be inserted to indicate the appropriate positions of the player's feet. The other end of the radius arm has a spike for insertion in the ground and a cranked portion 29 having three apertures 31, into one of which a direction indicator 30 is inserted. The radius arm may be carried inside the cross member, which has flanged washers 35 of rubber at its ends to prevent rattling, and the pins 24, 27 may be carried in the apertures in the cranked portion 29.
