[Classes 52 (iii) and 128] A table or like server comprises a base member 4 formed from a sheet metal pressing or spinning with a raised central portion 5 provided with an annular recess 3 forming part of a ball-race, and with a channel-shaped peripheral edge to receive a resilient ring 7, and a carriage part 8 also formed from sheet metal and provided with a recess 10 forming the complementary part of the ball-race, and a flanged periphery 9 to which the top 11 is secured. The part 8 is secured to the base by means of a screw passing through an inverted cup-shaped member 14 rotatably mounted in the base.
