Abstract
590,196. Fenders; cleaning piles. ROSENSTENGEL, B. L. Dec, 7, 1944, No. 24473. Convention date, Oct. 30, 1943. [Class 113 (i)] [Also in Group XXIX] In a wave-motor consisting of a float 29 slidable upon a rigid pile 20, to keep the pile free from marine growth, a heavy ring is suspended by chains from a sleeve 21. Roller fenders 42 and 43 projecting downwards are placed on the seaward and shoreward sides of each float of a series. Alternatively, fenders 42 may project upwards, and fenders 43 can be horizontal rollers.
