Abstract

590,190. Hair dressing appliances. RAY, B. M. Nov. 11, 1944, No. 22237. [Class 131] A hairpin, hair grip or fastener comprises a pair of outer prongs a, within which and in the plane of which lie a pair of inner prongs e, each pair of prongs being formed from U-shaped wire and joined together by twisting one base about the other. The inner prongs slightly exceed two thirds the length of the outer, the tips being bent towards or away from each other in the plane of the prongs. In a modification the inner prongs may be joined together and the tip l of the tongue k so formed may be bent.outwardly from the plane of the pin.
