[Class 141] A means for supporting a load-carrying strap on the shoulder consists of a resilient pad which is moulded from rubber or other resilient material and has a transversely-arched base 1 and longitudinal ribs 2. Shallow walls 3 and a bridge part 4 form a channel for the strap. The underside of the base is covered with canvas &c. to effect a grip-on the wearer's clothing.
