585,218. Screw gauges. ATKINS, H. F. April 13, 1944, No. 6794. [Class 106 (ii)] A gauge for testing the pitch of screwthreads comprises two separate, single-toothed and graduated rigidly built members 1, 1 adapted for relative rotation about a common axis and for application together to the screwthreads 3 to be tested by engaging the teeth 6a, 6a with separate spaces of 'the screwthreads, the graduations 6 to indicate correctness or error of pitch of the screw-threads. The teeth 6a may be made interchangeable to suit different types of screw-threads.
