Abstract
584,927. Photographic developing apparatus. LOBSTEIN, H. Nov. 13, 1945. No. 6019/44. [Class 98 (ii)] A holder for a number of plates or flat films to be inserted in a daylight developing tank normally used for roll films and of the kind having a central hollow pillar down which the liquids are poured so that they enter the film space at the base, comprises two plates supported in parallel spaced relation, and having on their opposed faces means such as grooves for receiving the opposite edges of the plates &c. The holder shown is adapted for insertion between the separate spiralled discs 5 of the known daylight developing apparatus for roll films, and comprises discs 1 held in parallel relation by rods 2 or spaced walls, or by merely clipping or screwing them to the discs 5, said discs 1 having opposed grooved faces 10 formed as by .applying corrugated strips thereto. The plates &c. are retained in position between a depending flange 11 and a co-operating hinged flap (not shown); or the discs 1 may be sprung towards each other to provide a frictional grip. Holes 3 in the discs 1 permit the passage of the above-mentioned central pillar 4, and other holes may be provided in them to permit free circulation of liquids and air.
