Abstract

583,800. Wireless receiving circuits. SLAFFER, M., and WRIGHT, C. S. Dec. 19, 1942, No. 18083. [Class 40 (v)] In a wireless receiver, employing cumulative grid detection, interference peaks are levelled to those of the signal by the connection of a diode 3 between the grid of the detector 2 and a variable tapping on a bias resistance 4 in the cathode lead. As shown, valve 1 is the last H.F. valve of a retroactive receiver feeding a cumulative grid detector 2. The invention may also be applied to a superheterodyne receiver.
