[Class 29] [Also in Group XIV] A refrigerator cooled by the evaporator 33, Fig. 2, of a machine comprises an upper part 10 set back from a lower part 12 to provide a table surface 15, the lower part being fitted with drawers 21 spaced from the back or having openings at the rear to permit a circulation of air to and from the evaporator in the upper part. The refrigerator may be built against a room wall, and the upper part may be partly inset into the wall, as shown, and inclined baffles 40 may be located at the junction of the upper and lower parts to guide the air flow and to direct condensation moisture from the evaporator into a gutter and a drip tray 41. A cupboard 14 may be arranged above the refrigerator proper, and the whole may form an element of a kitchen fitting including a sink with the compressor below it, and further cupboards and a stove. The drawers may comprise open bottomed'metal frames 61 to receive trays having slits or perforations 111 at the front for air circulation and rollers 65 engaging rearwardly inclined tracks 66 extending across frames fitted between the drawers so that loaded drawers close under the action of gravity. Spring buffers 63 may be fitted to the inner ends of the drawers to take the impact of closure. The bottom drawer is preferably fitted with inclined bottle supports corrugated transversely to reduce rattling. Specification 579,071 is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also a modification of the refrigerator in which a single baffle is employed in place of the group 40, and in which a lateral portion of the casing is recessed into a room wall. Removable apertured trays carried by the drawer frames may have the rollers 65 at the bottom. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
