Abstract

578,064. Changeable pictures. SANDOR, N. June 6, 1944, No. 10871. [Class 3 (i)] [Also in Group XV] Two superposed pictures a, identical in form either wholly or in part, are placed between two sheets of glass b, c, or are mounted on the rear of a single sheet. The composite picture is mounted in a frame e held in a casing d containing a source of illumination f. Between the lamp f and the picture is placed a diffusing screen g which may be graded in density of opacity. The lamp f may be positionally adjustable, and holes h allow cooling air to enter and leave the casing and pass on both sides of the screen g. The front sheet of glass may be of a dark nature or may comprise a translucent mirror, so that the picture is not seen till the lamp is fit.
