Abstract

576,238. Seats for vehicles. LINES BROS., Ltd., and LINES, W. Sept. 6, 1944, No. 17063. [Class 136 (iii)] A seat for a child's pedal-driven vehicle comprises upper and lower flanged sheet metal members 3, 1 locked together by the inward bending of the free edges of the upper member. The members are further bonded by a bolt 11. The seat is supported on a rear frame 7 and front frames 9, 10, to which it is attached by bolts 6, 8 respectively. Distance pieces 5 prevent buckling of the seat members when the bolts are tightened.
