Abstract
575,575. Motors. JEFFREY MANUFACTURING CO. Jan. 19, 1944, Nos. 1046 and 1047. Convention dates, Jan. 6, 1943, and July 3, 1943. [Class 35] - A motor, particularly of the vibratory type, is fed in series with a resistor from an A.C, source and a rectifier is connected across the resistor, the voltage applied to the rectifier being considerably less than that of the supply. In the form shown, rectifiers 22 fed at reduced voltage from transformer 14 are connected to the resistance 16 in series with the motor 17 and a further resistance 19 may be provided. The rectifier can be of the half or full wave type and of the electronic or copper oxide type. Specification 280,194, [Class 35], is referred to.
