[Class 106 (i)] In a wheel axle counter adapted to be arranged between the track rails and comprising a rotatable wheel with arms 5 adapted to be engaged by passing axles, a cam disc 6 integral or rigid with the wheel is associated with a locking pawl 9 which is operated by passage of the axle 13 to temporarily release the wheel. The pawl has a locking arm 11 loaded by a spring 14 and an operating arm 12.
