Abstract

560,919. Elevated railways. BENNIE, G. Nov. 7, 1942, No. 15752. [Class 104 (ii)] In an overhead railway, such as that described in Specification 191,760, [Class 104 (ii)], a turntable, such as that described in Specification 323,391, [Class 104 (ii)], is mounted -so that its weight is taken by the central pivot 16 on which it turns, while the bogie wheels 10a running on a circular track 1 serve only as guides, so that the turntable may be moved by hand from a platform 5 round the track 1. The signal lever 25 is interlocked with the locking lever, so that the signal must be put at danger before the locking means can be released.
