Abstract

573,444. Cable-laying ploughs. COUNTY OF LONDON ELECTRIC SUPPLY CO., Ltd., and HUMPHRIES, L. E. W. Dec. 3, 1943, No. 20244. [Class 6 (i)] In cable-laying ploughs in which the cable is fed through a hollow coulter 2, the rear end of the coulter is slotted and the point of exit of the cable from the coulter is situated approximately beneath the point of contact with the ground of the wheels 6 or other part of the supporting structure which controls the rise and fall of the coulter with the contour of the ground. The two wheels are independently mounted on stub-shafts carried by levers 14 pivoted in the frame 1 and angularly adjustable between stops 16a, 16b.
