Abstract

570,151. Greenhouses &c. DINGSDALE, W. H. Aug. 14, 1943, No. 13225. [Class 20 (i)] The transverse frames of a greenhouse, &c., are made of concrete, which may be reinforced, each frame being composed of three sections, viz. two verticals B with upwardly inclined short rafter parts bl and an angular ridge piece A whose ends make a dovetailed or overlapping joint a with. parts b<1>. The frames are spaced by concrete blocks D dowelled to the frames, and by a ridge member E slotted to receive the tops of the frames. The joints a are secured by one or more bolts a<1>. The parts b<1> of the frames overhang the verticals to carry guttering, &c. The frames may be provided with grooves, or may be rebated to receive the glass panes.
