569,897. Sheet - metal drums &c. HOWARTH, R. S., READS, Ltd., and BROWN, H. Oct. 19, 1943, No. 17158. [Class 21] The tubular body of a collapsable metal drum, keg &c. is formed by bending a metal sheet 1, Fig. 3, and securing its abutting edges 2, 3 together by lever-operated clips of which the sole plates 6 are welded to the metal sheet while the hooks 7 are pivoted at 8 to levers 5 which are themselves pivoted at 9 to the sole plates. Heads 14, Fig. 6, are removably secured by similar clips. Specification 407,426 is referred to.
