Abstract
566,923. Carbon - sheet holders. OFREX, Ltd., and WRIGLEY, S. E. [Representative of WRIGLEY, H. W.). Feb. 22, 1943, Nos. 2879/43 and 3160/44. [Class 16] Carbon sheets 3, Figs. 1 and 4, are held on a backing-sheet 1 by means of upwardly-projecting tabs 2 or oppositely-directed tabs 7, which pass through slits 4 or holes 8 in the carbons. Downwardly-directed tabs 5 may engage over the edges of the sheets to prevent them from being unhooked from the tabs 2. Similar fastening-means 2a, 5a may be provided at one or both side edges of the backing-sheet. The tabs may be stamped out of the backing or attached thereto. The backing may have a flap 6 to be turned over the tabs. The carbon sheets may be reinforced by a paper &c. strip 10, Fig. 5, having a crease 11 and slits 12 to engage the tabs, the lower part of the strip being turned up to cover the tabs. The tabs 15, Fig. 8, may be made of greater length and passed through 'slits 16 in the flap 6 of the backing.
