Abstract
580,948. Carbon sheet holders. OFREX, Ltd., and DREXLER, G. Aug. 2, 1944, No. 14739. [Class 16] In a carbon sheet holder for typewriters, one or more tabs are cut in the flap of the holder and passed through slits in the carbons and the backing sheet of the holder. As shown in Fig. 1, the tabs 3 are cut from the side edges of the flap 2 inwardly, and are made to pass through slits 7 in the carbons 6 into slits 4 in the holder 1; a further pair of slits 5 in the holder may be provided and corresponding slits in the carbons may be added. The extreme end parts 2<1> of the flap 2 below the tabs 3 may be cut away. In a modification, Fig. 5, the tabs 12 are cut from the free edge of the flap 2 and pass through the slits 14 in the carbons 6 and the slits 13 in the holder 1. Additional slits 15 in the holder and in the carbons may also be provided.
