566,649. Centrifugal separators. AKTIEBOLAGET SEPARATOR. Oct. 26, 1943, Nos. 17620 and 17621. Convention dates, Oct. 26, 1942, and Sept. 24, 1943. [Class 23] In liner discs for centrifugal separators manufactured by spinning in the manner described in Specification 344,473, whereby the thickness of the conical part or mantle X is equal to the original thickness of the blank multiplied by the closure of the angle between the generatrix of the disc and its radius r, the thickness of the conical part in the neighbourhood of the outer edge is less still, due to the outer part being expanded by a second operation. The second operation increases the diameter r to R. The flange Y may be inclined upwards during the second operation. The disc may be subjected to heat treatment after the first spinning operation.
