565,957. Supporting electric cables. ADEL PRECISION PRODUCTS CORPORATION. May 31, 1943, No. 8674. Convention date, Feb. 9, 1943. [Class 36] Electric wires and the like 3 are supported on aircraft by means of a flexible strap of rubber, artificial rubber, or the like 1 which is wrapped round the wires and secured by a supporting clip 2 comprising a fixed rectangular body part 7 and a movable part 8 having a curved end 15 adapted to maintain the loop 1 under tension to embrace the wires tightly. The part 7 is secured to the frame 4 of the aircraft by means of a bolt 5 and nut 6, and one end of the strap 1 is secured by tongues 10 to the part 7. The other end of the strap which is looped around the wires is passed under the part 8, and a lever clip 17 with a cam-end 18 is moved clockwise so that the strap is drawn tight, and the wires, 3 are held secure with the lever 17 in the position shown. The part 8 is formed with guide notches 13, Fig. 1 (not shown), coacting with ears 14 struck from the part 7. Specification 566,393, [Group XXV], is referred to.
