[Class 80 (iii)] [Also in-Groups XII and XXVIII] In an air or gas filter a driving pulley is given a step-by-step rotation from a countershaft by means of an eccentric on the shaft which actuates a rod with an inclined block engageable with a pawl-forming ball seated in the groove of the driving pulley. Reverse movement is prevented by engagement of the pulley with a detent-forming ball co-operating with a fixed abutment.
