563,247. Magazines for safety razor blades. HEIDE, H. C. (Gillette Safety Razor Co.). Jan. 16, 1943, No. 856. [Class 18] [Also in Group XIV] A magazine for safety razor blades adapted to be temporarily fitted to a safety razor holder to feed a blade thereto has a slide 15 guided between flanges 12 against which blades 23 are pressed by a spring 18, the blades being guided by two pins 16, one of which engages all the blades by means of a notch in the rear end of each blade and the other engages all but the top blade, a discharge opening being thus provided through which only one blade at a time can emerge. The blades may be notched also at the front, and the slide may engage the blades on one or both sides of the pins. The magazine has a projecting finger in front to engage the razor holder.
