Abstract

562,773. Crop sprayers. RIPPER. W. E. Jan. 6, 1943, No. 272. [Class 69 (iii)] For spraying trees nozzles 12 are mounted in two or more planes and arranged to direct their spray in a number of directions, the nozzles being carried on a mobile tank spraying machine. As shown, the liquid tank 1 has mounted upon it by brackets 2 a supporting frame for supporting a spray bar frame 4 which is adjustable in height by means of the plates 5 engaging slots 6 on the supporting frame. A pipe with pressure gauge 8 enables liquid to be supplied from the tank through the hose 9 and piping 10 to the spray bars 11 upon which are mounted the nozzles 12. A stiffening member 13 is provided. Specification 479,079 is referred to.
