Abstract
561,596. Walls. ANTHONY, T. H. Dec. 8, 1942, No. 17416. [Class 20 iv)] In a wall having spaced layers of slabs 17, Fig. 8, between columns having grooves or tongues engaging the ends of the slabs, the columns are built up in sectional lengths 14 Fig. 4, secured together by metal dowels in serted in holes 13 at their ends. A tie-roc 21 passing through a stringer course 20 is secured to'the dowels on the columns. Precast foundation blocks 10, Fig. 6, are formed with grooves 11 and seatings 12 to receive the slabs and columns.
